The underground utility work along Longvalley Road is now completed; therefore, Nicor Gas re-mobilized to the site to begin the gas main and service replacements. It is anticipated Nicor will be completed with a majority of their work by the end of the week of October 3rd.  Once the gas main and service replacements are completed, Nicor will be contacting each resident individually to schedule a time to switch from the old gas service to the new gas service. Please coordinate with Nicor to allow for this transition to occur as quickly as possible.

The contractor has moved on to North Branch Road to begin underground utility improvements. The sanitary sewer improvements are mostly completed. The water main and storm sewer installation is on-going. It is anticipated water service replacements will begin later this week or next week.

Once water service replacements begin along North Branch Road, water services will be replaced from the new water main to the existing valve and box located in front of each home. During the water service replacement, water to individual homes will be shut-off for approximately 2-3 hours while the transition from the old service to the new service is made. The contractor will notify each resident individually regarding the approximate time and day of the water shut-off prior to turning off the water.

It is also anticipated the contractor will begin the roadway improvements along Longvalley Road the week of October 10th.

Thanks again for all your patience and understanding.
